Bastiaan Scheepers is a Co-Founder and Director of INCITIAS, with a career spanning engineering consulting, project management, commercial leadership and original equipment manufacturing across the energy and marine sectors. He holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, and has worked across technical, commercial and general management roles for global engineering and OEM businesses.
At INCITIAS, Bastiaan has played a central role in shaping the company's integrated consulting and original equipment model since its formation, contributing to strategic direction, business development and the structure of complex project engagements.
Bastiaan's strategic project development is supported by practical engineering execution, particularly in early-stage and high-complexity environments. His experience across both OEM manufacturing and large-scale advisory projects gives him a grounded view of how consulting insight translates into engineered outcomes.
He has directed EPC delivery on the Mina Justa sulphuric acid import system and the FSO Pargo stern discharge system, and led advisory engagements across FPSO mooring, offshore abandonment planning, and systems development. Both EPC projects required close integration between INCITIAS' consulting and manufacturing capabilities, which is where Bastiaan operates most effectively.
Before co-founding INCITIAS, Bastiaan led the start-up of Trelleborg's offshore integrated mooring business unit, developing niche markets for FLNG, FSRU and FPSO mooring equipment and managing engineering design programs. He has held business management roles for INTECSEA and served as a Senior Manager in Advisory Risk at Ernst & Young, where he worked on governance and risk frameworks for major infrastructure programs.
This range of experience, from OEM product development to advisory to EPC delivery, is what INCITIAS' integrated business model draws on.
As Director and Co-Founder, Bastiaan shapes INCITIAS' strategic direction and leads business development across the energy and marine sectors. He works directly with clients on project structuring and commercial framing, and with internal teams to align consulting scope with delivery capacity.
